LOTO

LOTO training was created by Ludus Global aimed at training in Lockout-Tagout procedure in a completely safe environment.

Download technical sheet

Improve the ability to carry outa LOTO procedure correctly.

The simulation is useful for explaining the proper procedure and safety measures, as well as testing the user in regards to the acquired knowledge, appropriate course of action and safety measures, as well as testing the user’s knowledge.

Lock and verify the machine is
de-energized and use necessary PPE.

LOTO training objectives

Know the procedure
Getting to know the process, as well as necessary actions before and after executing the procedure.

Prevent accidents
Knowing the risks involved in an incomplete LOTO procedure and avoiding them.

Practice
Test the acquired knowledge through both guided and free mode practical exercises.

Normative

Our simulations have been checked by HSE technicians from all over the world, in order to avoid disagreements with the legislation, normative and procedures in different countries and customer companies.

Available exercises for LOTO

Use the necessary protective equipment in addition to blocking and verifying the energy drain.

Guided mode
Guided exercises in which the user learns how to perform the procedure correctly, following instructions throughout the simulation.
Electrical energy lockout
The student must lockout the electrical energy using safety measures, such as using PPE, blocking and tagging elements, measuring and unlocking the elements.
Freemode
The user applies everything learned in an exercise, from checking and selecting PPE to evaluating and correcting possible mistakes.
Pneumatic Energy lockout

The student must lockout the machinery, following the safety measures and proper procedure, to perform the maintenance task, avoiding any accident.

Hydraulic Energy lockout

The student must lockout a hydraulic system following proper procedure: use of PPE, locking and signaling elements, measuring and rearming the pneumatic energy.

Future updates
  • Multiple energies lockout.
  • Group lockout.
  • Other energies lockout.
